Inspired by Claude Monet's favorite cake, Le Gateau Vert, this hand-painted gourmet bonbon is filled with white chocolate-blended pistachio and perfumed with Poire Eau-de-Vie, a French natural pear liquor from Stéphane's native Normandy. This Bonbon exudes a complex yet subtle flavor. The center is very creamy and the outer shell is 64% tempered dark chocolate.

A great discovery

I'm not used to writing review, but I was very impressed with the Pistachio bonbons. I originally started looking for something French related for my family for Christmas because I visited there earlier this year and I was a bit nostalgic. I had almost not purchased them because they were a bit out of my comfortable price range. It was definitely worth it it though. It was a very nice, new and complex flavor for me. I got the impression from the flavor profile that it was made by someone with a passion for food.
